YOU GET PLANTING

DARING WOMEN INITIATIVE

In the early 20th Century a young teenager who lived in the Old Town of Edinburgh started to plant window boxes full of beautiful flowers. She wanted her city to be green. She wanted people to feel the joy of seeing plants and flowers amongst the buildings. Her name was Norah Geddes. She later became one of the first female landscape architects in Edinburgh. In her honour, we launch the Edinburgh Wee & Wild Revolution.
